1. Prep the Chicken
Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Sear It
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Sauce
Lower the heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the pan.
Sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant don’t let it burn!
4. Add Cream and Broth
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in the Italian seasoning (if using).
Let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
5. Stir in the Cheese
Add the Parmesan and stir until melted and the sauce starts to thicken slightly.
6. Finish It Off
Return the chicken to the pan, spooning the creamy garlic sauce over the top.
Simmer for another 2 minutes to bring all the flavors together.
7. Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
